Mittie's Links

You know, it's ironic - my Grandma has been leery of technology and refuses to even consider that she could use a computer (all my other surviving grandparents including inlaws are wired! But they are about 10 years younger, that's her reasoning!)... she would LOVE it! I added some links she would have added. I was also looking for an anti-Republican website but it would be hard for her to be a liberal these days without conflicting with her ultra-conservative moral values. She's been on the Republican mailing list since she voted for a judge that she knew and it's driving her crazy! But she did use the Ronald Regan calendar they sent her. Haven't seen any DUBYA stuff floating about though.

My Grandma on a seesaw. I can't tell if that's a doll or another live kid... I thought it was a doll until I scanned it in and got a closer look. What do you think?

Blog Dedicated to Mittie Elizabeth Roger :)

In making a Blog for my Grandfather I started to realize my Grandma is pretty darn awesome too... this could get out of hand very quickly. My grandmother, Mittie Roger, is 91 years old. She was born in 1914! She has been a true role model to many people throughout her life as an active Den Mother, Auxilliary Volunteer (Garland Memorial Hospital, now known as Baylor Garland), and is the best Grandma in the world. I wish she could still see and hear (she wished that more than me!) - I'd love to show her how neat this blog is going to be. She thinks the Internet is an all seeing force that knows everything and could tell her how many times she goes to the bathroom a day. I don't know... maybe it's possible.
